All teas are loose-leaf and weights vary by tea type.  Typical weight is 3 to 4 oz. per bag.  Bags are triple layered, flavor lock foil -  a cellophane outer layer, aluminum middle layer, and tissue paper inner means air stays out, flavor stays in.  
Bag colors represent tea type:
Black foil        Black tea base

Rosy Red Valentine (herbal)

 

This tea will become 'forever yours'!

Ingredients:  Wild cherry, rose hips, orange peel, hibiscus, spearmint, lemongrass, cinnamon, cloves, and licorice (a natural sweetener).

Flavor:  A truly delicious blend of herbs and spices, of a ruby red color to delight the eye, and  a fruity, tart yet sweet, flavor to delight the palate!

St. Paddy’s Green (green)

This leprechaun drinks lime-green tea!

Ingredients:  China Sencha green tea, freeze dried lime crisps and lemon peels, and red clover blossoms.

Flavor:  Lively lime explodes from this cup of  high in antioxidants green tea!  Lemon peel furthers the syngery.  And just for good luck, a dash of clovers; red clover blossoms are known for their cancer-fighting compounds and phytoestrogens!

White Chocolate Easter Bunny (black)

White bunny, black tea!!!

Ingredients:  Black tea, white chocolate chips, and cream flavors.

Flavor:  Sweet and creamy best describes this taste.  "I want it and want it NOW!" best describes the after effects of this tea's intoxicating finish!

Strawberry Tingle (red)

 

Ingredients:  Rooibos red tea and strawberry flavoring.

Flavor: Memories of sweet succulent spring strawberries abound.  This tea is the perfect harmony between rooibos red bush tea and strawberry!

Lavender Lemonade (white)

The lavender harvest at The Little Herb House occurs in mid-June!

Ingredients:  White tea, lemongrass, dried lemon peel, lavender buds and stevia.

Flavor: This will quickly become your favorite summertime ade!  Get all the flavors of lemonade, while adding the high polyphenol and antioxidant levels of white tea, and then blend in some lavender and stevia for the perfect finish.

Great on the ice!

Rosemary Peach (black)

Rosemary for remembrance - that is, remember to enjoy peaches this month!

Ingredients:  Ceylon black tea, freeze-dried peach and apricot, and rosemary.

Flavor: Peach season begins this month and you will definitely want to indulge in this tea along with your favorite peach recipes!  And who would imagine that rosemary would complement peach, but it adds the perfect finish to this synergy.

Hibiscus Cooler (herbal)

Tea hibiscus is harvested at The Little Herb House in October!

Ingredients:  Hibiscus, dried lime pieces, and lime leaves.

Flavor: Known as tea hibiscus, roselle and/or the Florida cranberry, hibiscus makes this cooler a big thirst quencher when iced down in the summer.  A tart, tangy cranberry flavor paired with lime flavorings make this a favorite! Sweeten with your favorite sweetener.

Apple Chai (red)

Ingredients:  Rooibos red tea, dried apples and apple flavoring, and chai spices.

Flavor:  A taste reminiscent of juicy autumn apples with sweet and spicy notes.  The red tea adds a healthy boost of polyphenols and nutrients, including iron, potassium, calcium, fluoride, zinc and more!  And all this in a caffeine-free beverage - who needs soft drinks?!

Autumn Cider (black)

Ingredients:  Ceylon black tea, clementine orange flavoring, dried cranberries, cinnamon, and cloves.

Flavor:  This tea is fruity and piquant with cranberry, yet sweet and saucy with Moroccan clementine notes.  Add the cinnamon and cloves for that true cider flavor.  Superb hot or over ice with a dash of sugar!

Sage Advice Tonic (herbal)

A tonic to boost your immune system just in time for the holidays!

Ingredients:  Blackberry leaves, elderberry, lemon verbena, sage, peppermint, fennel and cinnamon.

Flavor:  All natural herbal with elderberries, then accented with lemon, sage and mint, and finishing with delicate notes of anise.  Elderberry strengthens the immune system, while sage soothes the throat and respiratory system.  The balance of herbs adds a delicious flavor to this healthy tonic!

Holiday Greenery (green)

  "Hanging the greens" never tasted so good - sip a cup of this 'greenery' while "decking your halls!"

Ingredients:  Green tea, cinnamon, and dried orange peel.

Flavor:  Simple yet outstanding best describes the flavor of this holiday tea.  The cinnamon and orange just say "Christmas," while the mild green tea provides a delicious 'backdrop' to the Christmas spices.  So good, you'll want to leave a pot of this for Santa!

Winter Frost (white)

Earl Grey's snow cream in a teacup!!    

Ingredients:  White tea, cream Earl Grey, vanilla, peppermint and spearmint.

Flavor:  If you could taste "frost," this is what it would taste like!  The white tea provides a subtle, white base, followed by creamy Earl Grey, then finishing with the 'sparkle' of vanilla and mint flavors.  Slightly sweeten with vanilla sugar and you may think you're drinking snow cream!
